Jeffrey Matthew Settle was born on September 17, 1969 in Hickory, North Carolina. He is best known for playing Captain Ronald Spears in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers, as well as Rufus Humphrey, the father of Dan and Jenny, played by Penn Badgley and Taylor Momsen, on Gossip Girl.
