Sohini Sarkar’s early life and career
Indian Bengali actress Sohini Sarkar acts in both films and television. She played the lead role in the TV series Adwitiya which aired from 2011 to 2012. Sarkar made her debut in the 2013 film Rupkatha Noy. In the same year, she acted in the film Phoring. She was nominated for Best Actress in the 2018 Filmfare Awards East for the film Bibaho Diaries.
Born in Kolkata, Sohini Sarkar started her acting career with the Bengali TV series Ekdin Pratidin in 2006. In 2013, she played the role of Ahana in the Bengali film Rupkatha Noy. In 2016, she also played the role of Satyabati in the film Byomkesh Pawrbo.
