Vivek Mushran is an Indian film actor, best known for his performances in Bollywood films. He made his film debut with Saudagar, which was released in 1991 and was a super hit. He was born on 9 August 1969 in Renukot, Uttar Pradesh, India.
He attended Nainital and Hindal College of Science and Sherwood College in Delhi. After completing his studies, he decided to pursue a career in acting and settled in Mumbai. He got his big break in 1991 with Subhash Ghai’s super hit Saudagar alongside Manisha Koirala. The song “ILU ILU” from the film remains in the minds of the audience and is considered one of the most historic songs in Bollywood films.
In the same year, Vivek Mushran acted in another film titled First Love Letter and later acted in many films like Anjaane and Raam Jaane. His cute chocolate looks could not make him famous on the big screen; Vivek Mushran then made his fortune in the Indian television industry and made his mark on the small screen. His television serial Son Pari received widespread acclaim.
Other movies he has starred in include Ae-Dil hain Naadan, Parvarish, Bhaskar Bharti, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, etc. Vivek Mushran revealed in a recent interview that standout roles on the small screen are a hundred times better than bad roles in films.
